Vehicle insurance requirement

To make sure every trip is safe and protected, you are required to upload your vehicle insurance. We need you to obtain at least a Third Party Property Damage or Comprehensive insurance policy. Please make sure that the following details are included in the document:

• Start date (which must be before today’s date)
• End date / expiration date
• Your vehicle’s rego and vehicle identification number (VIN) which must match the details of the vehicle you’ve already added to your account
• Your name must be listed as either the policy holder or as a named driver and must match the name on your driver’s license
• The official logo or signature of the insurance provider must be clearly visible
• The type of cover must be listed as either ‘Comprehensive’ or ‘Third Party Property’

Holding and maintaining a valid Third Party Property Damage or Comprehensive motor vehicle insurance policy provides protection against property damage to third parties at all times when delivering using the Uber Driver app.

1. Sign into your Partner Dashboard.
2. Tap the menu icon.
