In response to the Chancellor of the Florida Board of Governors Emergency Order 2024-E0-01, Florida International University is working to remove barriers for those students seeking to transfer to a Florida university because of a well-founded fear of discrimination, harassment, intimidation or violence at an out-of-state, degree-granting, accredited institution within the United States. To ensure adherence to the order, if you are an applicant intending to undertake academic studies within FIU, please complete our online form and one of our Admissions staff will contact you regarding next steps.

High School You are a 9th, 10th or 11th grade student planning for college or interested in becoming a dual enrollment student.
First Year Student You are a high school senior, you’ve earned fewer than 12 college credits and you’re attending college for the first time.
Transfer You are applying to FIU having earned your AA, 12 or more college credits, or military credits.
Connect4Success You want to attend a Florida public or community college to earn an AA degree and transfer to FIU within 2-3 years.
Graduate You have or are about to complete a bachelor’s degree or higher and want to earn a master’s, doctoral, specialist degree or graduate certificate.
Returning You were previously enrolled at FIU as an undergraduate student and want to finish your degree.
Guest You want to take college courses from FIU towards a degree at another university or simply for the love of learning.
International You are non-U.S. citizen seeking an undergraduate or graduate degree.Reach out to an FIU admissions counselor if you have been impacted by an emergency event or other circumstances beyond your control. We will do our best to keep you on the path to higher education.
Starting an application creates your MyFIU account. You will need your FIU Panther ID to log into your account. Please allow 2-3 business days to view your application status. Remember your login and check the dashboard for updates.

After you officially submit your application, changes to your term of entry (this change will only be considered if you are not yet admitted or a transfer student) , major, or contact information can be applied using the form below. Students requesting to move their enrollment to a later term must submit this form. Changes to GPA or test scores must be submitted through the appeals process.
Completed applications include official transcripts, test scores, residency declaration and requested supported documentation. While waiting for admission decisions we encourage applicants to check out majors, campus visitation opportunities and FIU News.
